PRConsulting is a tradename for Business Fitness Consulting International Ltd since 1998.

PRConsulting was a concept that I started preparing in 1990, after leaving an Andersen unit.

PRConsulting.com is on the web since 1997, but was already online on community sites since mid-1990s.

Working across Italy, as the in-house expert on Decision Support Systems modeling, and supporting projects in different industries was a unique experience.

But before that experience, I had the chance to observe from the inside political campaigns since I was 7, and then to see through my family in theatre, private radio and TV, cultural events organizations what is communication.

And why an idea is not enough.

You can dress up the empty space between two words, but eventually it will be visible- it was just empty space.

But an idea is not enough- and idea has to be converted into reality by integrating the works of countless people.

Before entering business, I myself had some political activities, including campaigning, advocacy for European Federalist interests, and campaigning for the Italian Parliament with a local leftist party- all at the same time.

And in decisions support systems, I discovered that all those skills were useful.

Because a business model does not grow just inside the head of a the CEO, COO, CFO, controller, and others.

It is built by interaction with all the stakeholders.

And by assessing the most appropriate communication path to deliver, preach, convert.

I will let "buyology" where it belongs- to the "marketing gimmickry" shelf.

But the concept has a seed of truth.

A company or strategy is a product. And an idea. And a future. And you have to sell all of them to your audience(s).

They will not buy your products or services- they will buy the experience that you can deliver.

The "PRConsulting" concept is something that I used since 1993, before going on the web, through change management and multicultural negotiation activities.

Eventually, after I moved to UK in 1998, it became reality.

Since late 1990s, I used the same concept to help companies and startups (not just dotcom) to see the web presence as part of their business development strategy, not just a communication channel.
